A short walk to central Surfers Paradise. Plenty of street parking for our visitors and free parking for guests.
Clean, well presented, nice staff, excellent price. Photos represented apartment well.
There was a construction site nearby which did not trouble us with noise.
The lobby looks like it used yo have a bar and dining but doesnt seem to be operating at the moment.
Lifts were all operational and quick.
Little balcony was great and could see the ocean.
For the price, excellent value.

Booked a one bed apartment with a queen bed, but was checked in to a room with two tiny single beds; the slimmest beds I've ever seen. When I went to Reception to ask about getting put into the correct room, I was asked to spend the first night of a 2 night stay in the single room as no other room was clean! I showed a photo of the 2 single beds and advised that there is no way that I could fit in one of those beds,and was then told I was being 'upgraded' to the room I booked in the first place! Not a great first impression of this property.

Interesting view of Surfers from the balcony. It is a great place to dry washing on the provided racks. The rooms were certainly clean. The single beds were incredibly narrow. There three lifts worked well and the delay for a lift was minimal. The area is safe and easily walkable to Surfers Paradise mall and the beach. The car park is safe but drivers needs to exit their vehicles to tap their fob on the gate button. There is apparently a cafe but no staff mentioned it or recommended it. Guess nothing happens there. The three large mental dustbins on wheels at the hotel entrance rather spoil the ambience. The smell was bad the day we left. Bring your muscles to open apartment doors - very heavy. Overall our 5 night stay was pleasant and convenient -= especially the well equiped apartment kitchen. Definitely worth a visit and we would consider Ruby for staying there again. One small point. While the Reception staff were polite and helpful, english was obviously a second language and there were some minor communication misunderstandings.

The staff on the front desk were lovely. The first room we were given was disgusting. The shower wasn’t clean, there was hairs and toenail clippings on the floor, the bedside tables had spills on them, the kitchen surfaces was dirty and there was hairs in the bed. We were given a second room that had been “checked by the manager” but honestly this was only marginally better. As it was during the school holidays, there were limited options available so we ended up buying cleaning supplies and doing it ourself. We were given complementary sparkling wine and chocolates as an apology. The location is lovely, and if clean the apartments are well set out and relatively modern.

The apartments are tired. They also need a good spring clean and freshen up with paint.
Bathrooms were fairly new and clean, bed also. No mattress protector on bed just sheet - mattress won’t last long.
Bedsides and coffee tables, kitchen table had coffee / drink marks and had not been cleaned. Dirty tissue on wardrobe and clump of hair, the wardrobe slide was filthy.
Windows very dirty, ruined the view and they are easily accessible to clean. Lifts reliable but dirty.
Outside area really badly maintained, dirty and no one used it, pool area average, leaves around.
Basic cleaning is done but no attention to detail.
Many poor reviews and I dint think they are working to fix it, never saw anyone around cleaning.
Reception basic, staff pleasant but unprofessional dress and reception did not look professional.
Just making money, it’s not cheap to say here and I would rate it 3 star

Our stay was horrible room was dirty ammenties wer very poor not enough cooking utensils very run down apartment tv in main lounge didn’t work properly ie couldn’t connect to hotel wifi tv in main room didnt work at all stains and marks all throughout the couch dining chairs, worse thing of all was when we told the staff on the day we checked in he basically said that he couldn’t do anything and he didn’t have any maintenance person there at that time and this was on a Friday at 4pm and also advised he was the only one working at that time won’t be back I also told the lady at reception when I checked all of the thing above and all she said was I’m sorry

Loved the views, the bedrooms were spacious and the undercover parking was a bonus. We had not realized there was no dishwasher until the day of departure, one of the downsides. We had a nice time but jad some trouble with the ac in the living area did not work.

The whole place needs a thorough clean the carpet was dirty in the room we stayed. I don’t think the showers had been cleaned before we came as well. As for the washing machine the rims I don’t think it ever been cleaned. The windows were dirty and it’s also a very noisy spot as we’ve got a children’s park with carousels and the outside. Very disappointing will not return. The Restaurant and the bar weren’t open and I honestly don’t think they have enough people to service the hotel or they are not being supervised sufficiently. Even the foyer and the lifts were dirty.
