We had a very clean and comfortable room, all the Staff were very friendly and helpful, we did not use the WI-Fi, there did not appear to be any shops nearby but the City centre shops are not to far to walk to and the amenities in the hotel were readily available and we had a lovely weekend. Thank you.

Room was clean, quiet and small but the space is well used. Shower hot and powerful. There is a small shop nearby that is mostly catering to students with plenty of snacks, drinks and sweets and some hot food. We didn’t eat at the Ibis but we walked round to the local tap room for paninis and a pint. Parking is £6 but close and plenty of space.

We weren't told before our arrival that the restaurant would be closed between 7pm and 9pm so therefore no food available. The bar stock was practically no existent, my travelling companion asked for a rose wine and was told there wasn't any and only one white wine was available but there was only enough of that for one glass.

Hotel building and rooms are tired / dull. Free WiFi was pointless, capped a 2mbps and high ping so unusable. Quality of breakfast poor. Smell of sewage from bathroom sinks

The hotel feels dated, particularly the carpet. Bed was comfortable. Something feels sad about it. Also, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am even though the checkout was midday.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, carpets could do with changing - as stained and worn. No socket near the kettle and tea and coffee station. Breakfast ok, a little sparse and not replenished fully when items empty even when breakfast not finishing for an hour.
