Hotels near North Palace Town Square

Good, location near malioboro.

Very disappointed. - Pros: friendly receptionist, prime location. - Cons: extremely dirty bathroom, no clear info whether the dorm is mixed gender or not, only know when we checked in that this is a mixed gender bunk beds. Ac is not cold. To make it even worse, the water died apparently due to some technical difficulty but this wasn't informed upon check in and I had to find out later on. After 15 mins from checking in I decided to leave and found another hostel that is really nice for the same price point. The hotel offered me a refund the day after but up to today no fund received nor any compensation in anyway. Please avoid this hostel, there are so many proper hostels and hotels that worth your time and money.

Untuk solo traveller OK banget tempatnya, dekat dengan pasar beringharjo (lewat belakang/samping pasar) ke keraton juga deket (bwt yang suka jalan, ini lebih dekat ke alun2 utara). Lokasinya memang agak sedikit masuk jadi gak berisik untuk berisitirahat. Pelayanannya jg ramah. Bakal kesini lagi siy Kuala Lumpur ke Jogja lagi. Trims ya:).

Malam terakhir, mati lampu cukup lama dan pihak hotel tampak gagap dalam mengatasi masalahnya. Saya ada masalah dengan keadaan gelap karena ada asma dan juga sudah mulai terasa gerah. Hanya "minta maaf", lapor ke PLN, tunggu, that's it. Baru kali ini saya menginap di hotel kemudian mati lampu dan pihak hotel tidak punya genset. OK, mati lampu memang seringkali di luar kendali. Tapi harusnya pihak hotel bisa MENGANTISIPASI dong. Solusi: genset. Pertama dan TERAKHIR menginap di sini. Menyebalkan dan mengganggu sekali. Terpaksa saya meminta refund dan cari hotel lain. Apresiasi pihak hotel dengan melalukan proses refund dengan cepat. Tapi please, mati lampu di hotel, terlebih di sebuah hotel di kota besar seperti Jogja harusnya tidak pernah terjadi dan bisa diantisipasi.

Worth the price, unique place to stay. Good for backpacker.

The hotel's location is very close to some tourist destination such as: Palace of Yogyakarta, malioboro steet, fort of vrederburg, Beringharjo market, etc. Good place to stay for traveller which is look for clean, and comfort to stay. The price is not expensive (specially for weekday). Thanks

The bedroom and bathroom are not clean, the toilet faucet is leaking, near the Bakpia Tugu Yogya. It's good if you're looking for souvenirs, the staff is quite friendly. Nice sunrise from the 3rd floor room window.
