The Aircon only can adjust the fan, temp switch is broken, for novotel class this hotel need refurbish their room. Otherwise Novotel should reconsider their brand being used on this premises

The swimming pool is nice, the rooms are comfortable, I will sleep here again if I go to Balikpapan. The service is also good, friendly.

The best Novotel hotel in Balikpapan, book 2 superior rooms with connecting rooms, very luxurious and comfortable, sea view. Breakfast at the restaurant is very varied and delicious. Next time if you go to Balikpapan, you will definitely stay at Novotel. Thank you Novotel, thank you online agent.

Nice, comfortable, close to streetfood Taman Bekapai. Only the building is still in the old style. The sink and windows are a bit dusty, the lobby glass is dull, there has been no modernization renovation. Can borrow iron for free, limited to 2 hours. All over the island of Kalimantan, this Novotel has an old-school interior and exterior design. Novotel Banjarmasin still better.

I guess I had too high expectations with the Novotel here. When I checked in, the lobby was really hot, it smelled a bit musty and sweaty too, it seemed from the carpet, the lobby lights weren't too bright either. But the check-in process is fast. The hallway to the room is also dark. Overall the rooms are nice and clean, but the bathtub and toilet need repair. If you shower from the shower, you will get wet outside, even though the curtains are closed. The air conditioner is not cold enough, the lid on the thermos to take drinking water is also not good, there are crusts, so you have to wash it really again. Breakfast is plentiful and varied.
