Karawang Station (KW) located on Jl. Arif Rahman Hakim, Nagasari, West Karawang, West Java, is a large class C station located at an altitude of +16 meters above sea level. This station is included in the operational area (DAOP) I Jakarta and KAI Commuter, as well as being the station at the westernmost tip in Karawang Regency.
In addition to Cikampek Station, Karawang Station is also an alternative station that serves passenger train travel relations. From the northern part of Java, Dharmawangsa, Jayabaya, and Majapahit trains will stop at this station. Then, from the central part of Java, there are Singasari and North Kutojaya trains, while from the southern part of Java, Cikuray and Serayu trains are available.
Meanwhile, commuter train services (Commuter Line) served at Bekasi Station are Commuter Line Cikarang with routes from Cikarang, Bekasi, and Tambun to Angke via Manggarai Station, and routes from Cikarang, Bekasi, and Tambun to Jakarta Kota (night and early morning) via Pasar Senen Station.
In addition to long-distance trains for cross-Java travel, Karawang Station also serves local trains or Commuter Line, namely Commuter Line Walahar from Cikarang to Purwakarta, and Commuter Line Jatiluhur from Cikarang to Cikampek. The facilities available at this station are not too complete like a large class A or B station, only a parking area, independent ticket printing machines, toilets, prayer rooms, information services, and waiting rooms.
Bekasi Station (BKS) has another designation Bekasi Kota Station, located on Jl. Ir. H. Juanda (South Gate), and Jl. Perjuangan, Marga Mulya, North Bekasi, West Java (North Gate). The station, which is located at an altitude of +19 meters above sea level, is a large class A train station and is included in the operational area (DAOP) I Jakarta as well as KAI Commuter.
Every day, Bekasi Station serves thousands of passengers heading to all areas of Jabodetabek by using the KRL Commuter Line. As one of the stations on the Jabodetabek City Train route, Bekasi Station can also be said to be one of the busiest stations because it is passed by trains from Jabodetabek to cross Java Island.
Even so, most intercity trains do not stop at Bekasi Station. This station is only a brief stopover for several intercity trains to get on and off passengers. Some of the trains that stop at this station include Argo Sindoro train, Argo Cheribon Tambahan train, Argo Muria train, Argo Merbabu train, Sembrani train, Brawijaya train, Tegal Bahari train, Tawang Jaya Premium train, Gumarang train, Dharmawangsa train, Brantas train, Menoreh train, Kertajaya train, Airlangga train, Majapahit train, and Matarmaja train (northern Java route).
Then, Argo Parahyangan, Papandayan, Pangandaran, Cikuray, Serayu (southern Java), and Purwojaya, Argo Semeru, Gajayana, Bangunkarta, Fajar and Senja Utama, Sawunggalih, Bogowonto, Gajahwong, Mataram, Singasari, Gaya Baru Malam Selatan, Singasari, Progo, Bengawan, Kutojaya Utara, and Jayakarta (central Java).
To improve the comfort of prospective passengers, Bekasi Station has also been equipped with various supporting facilities.
