Malang, also known as the City of Flowers, is a bustling location in East Java, attracting both tourists and students. Due to its numerous educational institutions, the city is dubbed the City of Education of East Java.
Despite its high population, Malang's transportation facilities are sufficient, offering various options, including trains. There are numerous local and inter-city routes, including one to Probolinggo.

Probolinggo has several train stations, with only Probolinggo Station (PB) and Leces Station (LEC) still in operation today. However, only Probolinggo Station provides services for journeys from Malang.
Located in KH Mas Mansyur St No. 26, Mayangan, Probolinggo, East Java, Probolinggo Station sits at an altitude of +5 above sea level and is managed by Operations Area (Daop) IX Jember. Constructed in the late nineteenth century, the station continues to operate to this day.
