Check in was fast! They were very courteous and went above and beyond to help with our questions. Our room was clean, tub was huge, the bed was extremely comfortable!!! If you’re going to zip line it’s only 5 min. Away!! Applebees and a buffet breakfast diner is with in walking distance. We did the buffet (12.99 all you can eat) for the convenience of time!! It was good!!

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Tea and coffee was available whole day and night. Reception staff was very helpful

It was as lovely as hoped-for. Unfortunately, the common areas were pretty icky by 5 a.m., both the area around the coffee dispenser and the restroom. People who don't clean up after themselves are everywhere!

Price was good but the decor is dated and worn. Staff were really friendly and helpful. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms - 1 tea/coffee machine in the lobby for all hotel guests, this can get very busy especially in the morning. No breakfast or restaurant facilities. Rooms also aren't serviced - clean towels etc available on request.

Mentioned it’s my birthday and no upgrades or perks were offered. Additional $50-60 parking fee per night at check-in was annoying. Front desk had 2 people functionally checking people in, 2 others standing beside them and the line was to the entrance. Slow service was a disappointing start. Was given a coupon for a BBQ place that’s closed both days I’m staying here lol. Suite is oddly laid out with 2 couches/ living rooms. Faces the parking lot and river as expected. The air conditioner was emitting a weird smell for a while. Housekeeping by request and not offered for a multiple night stay is surprising for the price range. Outdated and worn furnishings including the bathroom. Small uncomfortable 2 seat couch in large king suite. Every other window on the 14th floor observation deck was cloudy. Unlikely to book this hotel again.

The hotel canceled our reservation as we were landing in Toronto due to plumbing issues at the hotel so we're unable to provide any comment on the hotel. They moved our reservation to a neighbouring hotel stating we were getting a similar room which was not the case. All that being said , the Hilton was a fine change of venue and the room did provide a good view of the American falls and staff were great!!!

I arrived at the hotel. The staff in the lobby was amazing and helpful. I was sent to room 244 and that room was terrible. It smelled moldy the furniture was old and dingy. The worst room I’ve ever been assigned at Niagara Falls Ontario. I went to get my money back. I was offered a different room #640 which was better than the other room because it did not have that stitch. I feel like the hotel needs to do better up keep. I was coming there for my 25th anniversary and that ruined my experience.

Please note that where I was offered to stay was an old motel that maybe the Oakes bought and is selling it as the Oakes hotel. It is poorly maintained. The door was hard to open, the sink was blocked and I have a picture of a roach that I killed. I refused to use the facilities. I feel as though I was staying in the stables like some animal. The hotel was packed so they could not change my room they said. My family n I checked in around 1 am after our flight and we were so tired. I should’ve left but we opted to stay and leave early in the am. Why would they sell a motel room as the Oakes hotel is beyond me. Oh and imagine I had to pay 50$ for parking. I was super disappointed to say the least. I stayed in a room #54. So please do stay in any number that does not have a floor number. That would clearly indicate it was not the hotel, but a rinky dinky stinky motel marketed as the Oakes. BEWARE! Do not be fooled like I was. Pr

Rooms don't have microwave or coffee maker. Had to go down 18 floors to the lobby to heat up leftovers and get coffee. Our car was broken into. Our glove boxes were rifled through and our souvenirs were stolen. For $50 per night for overnight parking, it seems there would be a better security in the hotel parking lot. Had to go down 6 floors to get ice. The view from the room was Phenomenal! Loved it!

Our room at The Oakes was flooded prior to us checking in, so they sent us to the Hilton. Parking is 50 cad off property and 65 cad in their parking garage. No free breakfast. The only good thing was the view.
