La vue de la chambre (21 e étage) était tout simplement spectaculaire. Toutefois, le stationnement extérieur était beaucoup plus cher que le stationnement intérieur à proximité (environ 250 m).

We had a beautful room with an amazing view. The only complaint is the $50 per night to park our car. Seriously!? We saw parking for $20-$40 per night very close by. Had we realized this before checking in, we would have parked elsewhere.

Perfect location. Step away from all attractions. The bi-level Fallsview room was AMAZING!

Great view of the falls! Very clean and comfortable room. The parking fee is $50 and not included with your stay. Only complimentary coffee and tea. Great for a short stay to see the falls.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Some minor things in the room (broken lamp, empty body wash bottle) didn't take away from the nice view, very convenient location (if you get the pass for unlimited railway rides), and decent amenities (free coffee/tea, microwave, pool). Parking was a bit pricey so we parked at the casino. The casino food court is quick walk away. Check-in was slow with a long line during prime check-in time, but checkout was quick and easy.

We didn’t even get to stay at the hotel due to plumbing issues and were moved to a different hotel. Later we saw a huge bus of people pull in and enter the same hotel. Said they were supposed to call me but “forgot”.

The Oakes hotel has a wonderful location and view of the falls. However, the property itself is pretty bare bones. The rooms are quite dated and show significant wear and tear. The housekeeping staff was seriously short staffed, so the rooms were not ready at the check-in time of 4 pm. The hotel also was suffering some damage from water, so they had to rebook a bunch of people to another local hotel. The rooms have a fridge, but no coffee maker. They do offer coffee and hot water in the lobby only. The ice machines are located only on a few floors. Parking on site is priced at $50/night. For the price, I would expect a little bit more in style of the room and comforts available. I understand, it's a tourist town, so money is going to fly out of my hands. I would not hesitate to stay for the view, but if you want a nice room, I will search elsewhere. It's pretty basic.

Oaks stay didn't happen. Plumbing issue

The view was stunning, and we specifically chose a room overlooking Niagara Falls. Overall, the room was satisfactory, but the couch and carpet were dirty, and the AC was quite loud. The staff was helpful and pleasant.

Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several cleanliness and maintenance issues that kept it from being a great experience. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and pleasant to deal with, which we appreciated. The room itself was decent, although the bed was much too soft for our liking. One of the beds also appeared unmade underneath the covers, which was disappointing and made us question how thoroughly the room had been prepared before our arrival. We were informed that rooms are only cleaned every three days, which is understandable to a point, and we did regularly see housekeeping staff working in guest rooms. However, it was very noticeable that the hallways were not being cleaned or vacuumed at all during our stay. Trash cans in the hallways were overflowing, and there was a piece of candy on the floor — at first glance it honestly looked like something much worse — that remained in the exact same spot the entire time we were there. That made it pretty clear the hallways were being neglected. The hotel has potential, and with better attention to cleanliness in the common areas and more consistent housekeeping standards, the experience could have been much better. The friendly staff helped leave a positive impression, but overall there is definitely room for improvement.

Great location. Older hotel but worked for what we wanted. Beds were clean. Carpets could use replacing.

We got “upgraded” to a new room because there was apparently plumbing issues in original room. We were moved to the ground floor section , which was not part of the high rise building but next to it, it looks more like a motel. Our bathroom had dirty towels in it, our fridge leaked, and there was no coffee maker in room. Needless to say we won’t be back. It felt like a budget motel and it was our anniversary weekend . We were very disappointed
