I stayed at the Peninsula Tower Hotel (Jakarta). The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed, allowing me to relax. The staff were very polite, and check-in and check-out were smooth. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Posto Dormire Sudirman, a property that benefits greatly from its highly strategic location within the city. For residents of Jakarta seeking a brief staycation, as well as visitors from outside the capital, the hotel offers excellent accessibility, being conveniently situated near public transport links. This makes it both practical and appealing as a base for a short urban retreat. One of the most compelling aspects of the experience reveals itself towards the early evening. As dusk begins to settle and the skies remain clear, I would highly recommend making your way up to the rooftop. From this vantage point, one is treated to a striking panorama of Jakarta’s skyline, where towering buildings gradually illuminate the city with a captivating display of lights. It is an atmosphere that lends itself beautifully to quiet appreciation, casual dining, or simply capturing memorable photographs. The rooftop experience is further enhanced by the presence of a jacuzzi and sauna, both thoughtfully positioned to take full advantage of the surrounding views.
