Quality Inn & Suites - Toronto West

I rarely leave reviews, but people genuinely deserve to know what they’re walking into before booking this hotel. Our experience was so awful that we didn’t even end up staying the night because we were completely disgusted and uncomfortable the moment we arrived. From check-in alone, things already seemed chaotic and unprofessional. The staff appeared disorganized and confused, and it quickly became obvious that management has no control over what is happening there. The biggest red flag happened when the front desk assigned us a room that already had people sleeping in it. We opened the door expecting to settle in for the night and instead found another group already occupying the room. It was beyond embarrassing and honestly felt incredibly unsafe. I cannot understand how a hotel could make such a serious mistake. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the staff acted inconvenienced that we were upset and offered very little apology or reassurance. Once we were finally given another room, things somehow got even worse. We saw cockroaches running up the door frame almost immediately after entering the room. It was absolutely disgusting. On top of that, the inside door latch was broken, meaning there was no way to properly secure the room from the inside. Considering what had already happened with the room mix-up, having a broken latch made the entire situation feel even more unsafe. At that point we decided there was absolutely no way we were staying there.

The room was on the ground floor. People were outside and quite noisy and vulgar. The front desk claimed they dealt with it but nothing changed. My phone rang at 1 and 5 am. I did not get my wake up call.

Our fridge barely worked and our AC barely worked and we didn’t have a window that opened !!! Got so gross smelling in our room from having no ventilation and being in the same room for 3 days the one night the hallway smelt so bad (coming from down the hall) that i could barely stand it Thankfully the last day we got a new room on the first floor so our door opened but the first 2 nights were not a fun time sleeping… also they don’t mention anywhere that about every 5 minutes the planes fly directly overhead and I mean directly

Good place to stay when flying out of Toronto Int. Airport.

The picture shows that rooms were newer and nice but actually it is a bit old. Although the room we had, bathroom was renovated and new. Upon check-in staff told us room was not yet ready and asked us if we can wait for 30mins and so we did but unfortunately after 30mins it was still not available. We were travelling with a baby so was hoping we could give us at least 1 out of 2 rooms we book to settle the baby. Overall, if you are not fussy hotel was ok.

Rooms were clean but TV was very laggy. Hallways dirty.

First, make sure you go to the right hotel. Google Maps may send you to the Quality Inn rather than the Inn and Suites on Ambler Drive. Staff were pleasant and cheerful. Bed was very comfortable. There were a couple of small maintenance issues, including the shower that shot water all over the floor despite the curtain. As with most hotels, there were not enough outlets near the bed for cpap, phone, watch, etc. I always travel with a power bar for that reason.

Breakfast was not fully maintained till 10am.

This Hotel is perfect for the Travellers and it's very convinient because there is an available shuttle to and from the airport. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to get a breakfast because we need to be in airport by before 6 but the ice, water , coffee ( hot and cold) and tea are available 24 hours.

The property was fine. The room was clean, amenities were good, breakfast was great. The hall carpet could be replaced. The odor in the building was heavy with Indian spices and vaping. My biggest issue was pick-up at the Toronto Airport. The Airport signs clearly say to go outside one specific door for hotel pick-ups - column 40 outside. I waited and waited & saw 2 of your vans go by in the far lane where I could not flag down the driver. I tried calling twice for at least 40 rings each before finally reaching the driver & was told to go to column 13. Nowhere was this communicated to me and his response was, "Call the hotel." I said, " I've been trying to do that for 45 minutes." You need to post this information on your site / Expedia as well. I was outside the airport by 11:30pm & arrived into my room by 1:15am. The check-in at the front desk went well; friendly staff.

Good overall

The hotel smelled and trash was kept outside some rooms so there was a musky smell. The washroom toilet was broken and overall standard was not worth it

Not great, but not bad either. The good price justifies the quality
