Great central hotel for numerous places to visit. Staff all pleasant and helpful. All areas kept spotless. Car parking available, but a but tight, please drive slowly to prevent damage to cars

Bathroom a bit dated shower not great. Staff great really helpful, friendly and welcoming. Restaurant food evening meal very good, breakfast average. Spa and pool lovely, well equipped, with helpful staff.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. We had the cheapest room which was basic but clean and everything worked. The Sunday and Monday stay was great value. The breakfast was better than expected for the cost of the stay. Only a 5 min walk to the shops which was great. Would definitely return.

Was quite disappointed overall. We upgraded our room but not sure what the upgrade actually gave us as the room was pretty basic - other than the whirlpool bath which wasn’t very luxury I would say we didn’t actually get much of an upgrade. Breakfast was quite poor - the eggs were dry, the bacon lacked taste, there wasn’t actually much to choose from. Not what I was expecting from something calling itself a spa hotel. The spa itself was ok but nothing special. It was all just a bit unloved and needing attention. We didn’t get to use the whirlpool in the spa as people just hogged it but most of the time it appeared not to be whirling anyway.

Only stayed one night with breakfast included. Our room was clean and tidy and breakfast was good. The price reflects on the condition of the hotel. I would stay there again .

Fantastic hotel to stay in. Very clean and tidy everywhere. Room spacious and I was so glad there was a bath. Staff very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool and steam room were excellent. Breakfast was lovely and a good choice of food. Easy walk from the train station. Just a few minutes. Plus an easy walk into town too. Again not to far on foot.
