Tempat yang baik, tetapi ruang tamu melia tiada tab mandi dan sarapan kurang bervariasi. Selebihnya adalah baik.

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room is clean, neat and tidy. The toilet is clean. The room service is good. The staffs are friendly. Breakfast time is from 6:30-10:30 a.m. There are variety of choices there. Check out time is 12 p.m. but you can do late check out by 1 pm. You need to tell to the counter for late check out so that they can add more time for your room access card. The place is very near to Time Square and it is convenient place to travel around. There is a night market nearby, walking distance 5-10 mins.

Pros: Location: located right opposite Berjaya Times Square and Imbi monorail station is definitely a huge advantage. It’s 800 meters from the nearest Hop on hop off bus stop and the bus passes right in front of the hotel. Even the shopping district of Bukit Bintang is accessible on foot. Sleep quality: very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Air conditioning was pretty good as well. Toilet: while the toiletries provided were average, their hot shower was great though. Cons: The Kitchen @ Melia needs to get their act together. Their breakfast buffet was touted a good which is one of the reasons I booked this hotel and it got progressively worse with every day that we stayed. The attitude of the waiters was lackadaisical, dishes were mislabeled, they kept running out of stuff and the general quality of the preparation was never very impressive. Even dishes ordered a la Carte looked the part but the taste failed to impress. Gym: The Gym was spacious enough and only had a 1 other person every time I worked out. The machines are a bit dated and the mats were dirty. Not a gym I would be able to use for a long stay and barely enough for a short stay. No gym instructor present either. Courtesy of staff needs to be better especially at ‘The Kitchen’ and front desk. Tip: book directly from Melia’s website to get a Rm 30 per person per day voucher.

Staff are rude especially Fazlina
I have been staying at this hotel for 11 years every month. Today I came back here after a long gap and was surprised to see how rudely they have started treating their guests especially the club room guests. I was told by the staff member Fazlina (Ina) that I got too many guests for my meeting. I had booked a meeting room which is part of the package and held a business meeting there with 3 others. That's apparently too many people to meet in that hotel. She made a scene in front of my business guests. When I called the manager he said I apologize but I can't do anything whereas he could have. I was then told by an old timer that the hotel has become quite guest unfriendly after its been renovated. Maybe they have become arrogant. I will never be coming back here.

Very hard and creaky bed :( Location is excellent though.
Recently returned after staying 2 nights here at the end of our month long holiday. I was traveling with my parents so we were assigned adjoining rooms (501 and 502). The room was quite large, very modern with a large bathroom. We had the view of the very big mall across the road (Berjaya Times Square) and a sitting area by the window which was lovely to watch the very busy world go by in KL. Location was excellent with all the huge shopping centres all around the hotel - Berjaya Times Square in front of the hotel and all the others (Low Yat, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavillion etc) all a short walk away. There is a 24 hour 7eleven and a Starbucks literally right next to the hotel. The front end staff were really friendly and most helpful. The swimming pool was on the 2nd or 3rd floor and was small-ish but refreshing. There were really only 3 cons to my stay here which was: 1. The bed - the bed was really squeaky and don't get me wrong, I know that all beds squeaks but not only did our bed squeak, it let out a very loud creak every single time we moved around. When we sat, when we moved, when we got up. And it was a very hard bed indeed. The pillows were so soft they were virtually non existent so combined with a hard bed, it was quite a hard nights sleep. 2. The room needed more light. The lights seems very misplaced and therefore made the room look constantly dark. My hubby and I were struggling to read anything as there was hardly any lights in the middle of the room. 3. Breakfast - our family came down to have breakfast about 9am. Buffet looked okay, lots of variety but most of the food seemed to have ran out by this time and my dad waited for 15 mins + for a dish to be replaced. I myself too waited for quite some time at the noodles counter before someone came to help me. I would come back for it's good location and staff and hoping that when I come back, I would get a more comfy sleep.

Booked thru melia.com to experience their newly refurbished room, to be surprised there was a member's birthday voucher which is good for few months after your birthday, so get some discounts from the normal rates. Having read the feedbacks that one should go for the Level, decided to give it a try. The hotel is situated right opposite Berjaya Time Square, so that means its very near to Imbi Monorail station - a convenient way to move around. Upon arrival around 2pm, approached the lobby's Front desk and upon checking, the staff informed that check in is to be done at The Level lounge at level 18. I still unsure of his word "'bang" (literally, "bro") as the proper way to address a guest, although he may be trying to be friendly and all. Check in at The Level lounge was handled by Hazaril, who was attentive although he was unaware when i show him the myr60 F&B voucher provided in the reservation email as a direct online booking promotion. He did try make a call, but couldnt verify that, no problem though - but i believe the hotel should honour any promotions and should disseminate the info to the staff. The newly refurbished room was a nice touch, cozy and welcoming, although it's rather small due to the original layout of the hotel itself, so not much can be done there. Room view was facing Bukit Bintang area, yes, you could see the twin towers although that means you could also see the ugly rooftop of Lowyat Plaza. The room comes with usual amenities as well as a coffee machine, although i couldnt find the capsule for it - only to be provided 1 capsule by the housekeeping staff later in the evening. Evening cocktail at The Level was good, we even had it almost to ourselves and its really quiet up there - thats why we can hear every little thing the 3 staff manning the desk were chit-chatting about although we're sitting far across the lounge. To be fair, the food was of good variety and we even had some satay which was refilled later. The hotel do have a small pool, but decided to skip it as it's raining. There's a nice gym as well. The next morning received an email from hazaril as a nice gesture to welcome guests for the first morning, and inform about breakfast. Decided to have breakfast at the main restaurant called The Kitchen, but the staff didnt even say good morning to us as he did to the guests in front of us - maybe coz we're not "mat saleh" enough? Other than that, loved the breakfast experience as there's plenty of choice and drama, as the chef were scolding one of the staff for not decorating the plate properly. As i prepare to leave, received a call from a staff to inform the check out time - as if i have no clue what the time is, so I went to see Hazaril to check out. He was kind enough to ask about my experience and all, but then politely asked me to check out at the lobby reception instead.
