Really lovely stay x great hotel, friendly staff, clean and funky hotel! Check-in was a bit slow. Perfect location for sightseeing!

The room was one of those modern eco bulb room and was like a dark cave it apparently was a four star but the room looked like a 3 star nothing special. Restaurant was all Indian food.

Absolutely terrible hotel. I stayed for two days in a tiny room that was very very dated compared to the competition in the area. Positives of the room: There was a window that can open partially to allow some fresh air into the room. Negatives: 1. Carpet was dirty 2. Smells of mould in the room 3. Cobwebs in corner of bathrooms walls and floor 4. Mould in the grout of bathtub and sink 5. Flush did not work great on toilet 6. Extractor fan did not work so very humid in the room 7. The willows are awful and bed springs was digging into my back 8. No fridge 9. No wardrobe or any storage 10. The safety deposit box could be picked up and not secured to wall or anything. Hotel has no gym either which is surprising considering the size. Overall not a great stay and I definitely will not be coming back.

Hotel was really good apart from the bathroom. The bath was extremely dirty and looked like the limescale had been there for some time.

Excellent greeting and check in. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a car park was a factor in our choice (additional charge). Be careful of it's height restriction. A great central location just a short walk to the main shopping centre, or the river area. The restaurant serves an Indian menu which didn't appeal to us and we had to miss breakfast so can't comment on the food. Only 2 issues for us. Only 1 of the 2 small lifts were working, which caused queues at times. The room tv probably hasn't been re-tuned since it was installed so half the channels don't work.

Spot on location, gorgeous bed and nice staff what more could you ask for, breakfast was nice too, somehow fitted my Ford ranger in the multi storey next door, will definitely use again.

Perfectly clean room and bathroom. Staff were courteous and helpful. Peaceful stay in well insulated room. Nothing out of place or missing.

Two shampoos in the room rather than shower wash. Only 3 hangers for 2 people.

Spacious room, warm shower and comfortable bed

It looks impressive from the outside and in the reception area, but it is a bit scruffy when you get in further. I was allocated room 408 which is listed as “compact double”. It was freezing when I went in, so I went to close the window. Turns out it was broken and couldn’t be closed. The wood frame was rotting. I tried putting a rolled up towel in front of it but knew this wouldn’t make any useful difference. I went down to reception who came up to the room and looked at it. He said they were fully booked but I was moved to a larger room on the same floor which was slightly better. The bed was awful - could feel the springs through the mattress and it was not comfortable at all. I was hoping to have a relaxing bath, however, the bath was not in a good state, with enamel peeling off and dirt within this. When I checked out the next day, I went to my car in the secure car park (which is very windy and extremely narrow spaces) to find my car would not start. I called the RAC but due to the low height on the gate the van would not be able to get in. I spoke to the reception staff as I was in a bit of a state and they were a bit shrugged shoulders about it all. I sat in the lobby of the reception for a couple of hours waiting for the RAC and was ignored unless I went to reception to ask them anything. I normally stay at premier inn but wanted what I thought was going to be more luxurious - I was wrong!

Did exactly what it was needed for and staff were all polite and professional
