Great experience from start to finish and a great location for all the sights

Muy agradable lugar excelentes cuartos

A good value way of staying within walking distance of York. Pool is small but useable, sauna was not turned on. Executive room could have been cleaned better, smell in toilet and hair on bathroom floor but nothing major. Carpark £17 but very convenient. Breakfast good for price point.

Staff was brilliant 10/10 always checking when they see us if everything eas okay.

All staff were very welcoming, room facilities as expected but hotel looking a little tired in places such as restaurant seating badly stained. There was a terrible drain smell coming from the washbasin waste in our bathroom which we reported. This had improved but was not eliminated completely by the time we returned in the afternoon. Good variety at breakfast but some poor quality such as juices and bread.

Although its a nice/comfy hotel and good access to centre, the check in time of 4.30pm lets it down

It was an amazing experience. Great location, great service in resraurant, good food options. One little suggestion, maybe the swimming slot be 45 minutes and not just 30. It would be a bit more relaxing

Nice clean and comfortable

Great public areas, pool is a great addition and towels provided too. Room was a little tired and could’ve done with a extra clean. The USB sockets didn’t work which was annoying but not the end of the world. Fridge was a nice addition too. Overall, fair stay but at £125 for the night, a little steep for things not to be cleaned or working. Great location though.

Really lovely city stay. Accommodation was easily accessible and comfy.

A decent location for central York, with car parking cost better than others.

Excellent hotel room number 229. Very modern. Gourmet restaurant - lovely food and could use our taste card. Superb location to walk the walls and for The Barbican. Small pool but only 2 of us so very relaxing. Check out noon but could park until end of the day.

Stayed for 1 night, we were given a disabled access room on the 1st floor, room was in poor condition although it was clean, when turning on the shower the water sprayed all over the floor, shower curtain did no go inside the bath, carpets stained, broken fixtures, cotton wipe stuck to the skirting board, we wont be returning, staff however were nice.

Very friendly staff,very clean,excellent shower,very big-comfortable bed,very goo pllows,blanket super king size,very good hotel to stay,just too expensive parking,we arrived at 14o'clock,been accommodated 16.30o'clock,next day parking left at 12o'clock and been charged £17 for parking,I tink it's litlle bit too expensive,because you live in this hotel.

I was very disappointed when I saw the pool - it's about 8m long; the photo makes it look a lot bigger. There are no showers in the changing room (other than a disabled toilet/shower) which means you have to get dry to return to your room to take a shower and wash your hair! Some of the chairs in the reception area were badly stained and the carpet in our bedroom was also stained. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choice and the staff were all really friendly. Reception was often only manned by one person so sometimes there was a queue but on the whole, it was OK. The location was good for walking into York city centre. Would I stay again? Probably not as I only chose the hotel for the pool which turned out to be a real disappointment.

The room we was given was room 111 which in my opinion was not a queen size bed as I had booked. And also on the booking I made it had said car parking was included but I was charged a further £17!! Wasn’t the best experience unfortunately
