With the exception of the man who checked us in, the staff were all wonderful. However, there were many disappointments for us at this hotel. We had reserved a falls view room with a balcony, fireplace, and sofa two months before our stay. Two weeks prior to our stay, i called to confirm the details and was assured everything was in order. Upon arrival, the man who checked us in was rude and unhelpful. Everything online stated that self parking was $35 to $45 per day, he wanted to charge us $50. There was no sofa in the room when we arrived, and upon calling the desk was told that there was a previously unknown $25 fee to "hold" a room with one, and there were no rooms with a sofa available during our stay. The "balcony" was a section of window that opened and had a railing that extended approximately 4 inches out from the opening. The fireplace looked nice, but only blew cold air into the room. We were tired, so decided to go to the hotel's buffett restaurant for dinner. There was nothing that stated the cost, and that dinner ended up being $70 each! For reheated frozen foods, some of which was burnt! Several people in the elevator stated the same thing after leaving. We visited the casino, went back to the room and went to bed. We were awoken in the morning by the fire alarms going off. This lasted several minutes, with an announcement finally being made to stay in your room and that the alarm was being "looked into". At least the view of the falls was spectacular.
