The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the sliding glass door and the staff upgraded our room. The staff makes the stay worthwhile.

My cousin and I took a much needed extended vacation. We started in Cozumel at the Westin and were extremely comfortable and pleased with our stay. We wanted beach, pool and decent off shore snorkeling and it was everything that we hoped! I was snorkeling sometimes 2-3x a day because there was so much to see. The food at the restaurants was good, especially the dinners. Delicious! The drinks were what they should be. The staff was lovely. So many people always smiling and helpful. Javier, a front desk manager, was also exceptional. We cannot wait to return next year!! Thank you so much to everyone there for making our vacation so lovely.

Everything excellent as expected from Westin, but the real reason we stayed there is the snorkeling there is fantastic!

We recently stayed at The Westin Cozumel and had a mixed experience. The best part of our stay was definitely the staff. Vicky, Osvaldo, and the rest of the team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their outstanding service made a big difference and is what we will remember most. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that the hotel did not disclose it was undergoing renovations when we made our reservation. The outdoor restaurant was closed, so we weren't able to enjoy it during our stay. In addition, the lobby had no air conditioning because of the renovation work, which made it very uncomfortable, especially in the Cozumel heat. Had we known about these renovations and the limited amenities beforehand, we would have chosen to stay somewhere else. We understand that renovations are sometimes necessary, but guests should be informed before booking so they can make an informed decision. We truly appreciate the wonderful staff, but we hope the hotel will be more transparent with future guests about ongoing renovations.

Love the hotel. It has some small things here and there to fix/update but none of it impacted our stay. We had issues with our keys the first 3 days but it was fixed finally. Only bad thing is we paid for all inclusive breakfast and it was basically eggs, meat, fruit and bread. Our last stay, which was the same package, we had the breakfast buffet. We were offered the buffet for an additional $5 each but after already paying for breakfast with our package, we chose not to. If I had known we could only get the “American breakfast” I would not have chosen the breakfast all inclusive option and saved $300. The hotel was busy but it was always clean and the staff were always around to help if needed.

On the positive side, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite and the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked exceptionally well. The bathroom was huge. The extra half bath was nice to have. All of the staff was very accommodating to our requests. The food and service in the restaurant were both very good. We were on a diving trip, so we didn't use either of the pools, but they looked very nice. We could have done without the naked babies in the pool, but we weren't using the pool so no skin off our noses. The covered chaise lounges at the Sky Bar were a great place to read a book. On the not so positive side, a couple of days before we arrived, we received an email from the hotel stating that they were beginning renovations the day before we were to arrive. The email stated that the amenities would remain open. Not true. When we got there, we learned that one of the two restaurants was closed. We were also told that a Continental Breakfast would be available at 6:30 am. That was only true on the weekend. So, the value of the all-inclusive package we bought was significantly diminished.

The staff are very helpful and nice. The issue is the rooms that need repair and updating. Our room had lots of marks, cracks on the door and bottom of baseboards. The shower leaked by the door and sides. This hotel is definitely not anywhere near Westins we have stayed at.

The hotel is wonderful and thr staff is amazing, I lost my flight due to maintenance issues and reached out the hotel, they promptly move my stay one day so I dont lose anything. The only thing I could add in top of everything that was already amazing is a suggestion to have a ice-cream kiosk where you can eat during the day as you can drink alcohol during the entire day. But that is just a suggestion I will definitely come back here more times Thanks The Westin Cozumel team!

I loved staying here! I came to do diving at the dive shop on site and it was perfect. The room was AMAZING and massive! The shower was so perfect and I had an amazing view of the beach. They have an all inclusive option but decided not to do it bc was out all day with diving. The restaurant on site was really good for dinner, and also tried breakfast one of the mornings. The hotel beach is sooo pretty, and you can watch the sunset from there, and you can also snorkel with lots of colorful fish! The dive shop was great, the guys there were really good and helpful, very nice and experienced dive masters and just overall a good time! I felt safe the whole time. Def recommend staying here if you want to go diving in Cozumel. I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay. Amazing wait staff. Beautiful beach and rooftop pool. Food was overall good. Only negative was lack of clear instructions from front desk at check in providing information of the resort (where to obtain towels with card and where room was).

Great location! It just needs some updating on the maintenance and upkeep. You can walk right out to the beach and the staff that waits in your was top notch! The boy thing they should change is the menus at the restaurants should be rotated a bit more throughout the week. We would stay there again!

This property is small and absolutely gorgeous. You can choose to do all inclusive or not. We chose not to as we wanted to explore the town, but we did eat at the breakfast buffet once and it was great! It’s the perfect home base and you just try the key lime pie across the street!

I am extremely disappointed with both Expedia and The Westin Cozumel regarding my recent stay. When I booked my vacation through Expedia, I specifically purchased and paid for an all-inclusive package. However, upon arrival at The Westin Cozumel, I was informed that my reservation did not include the all-inclusive benefits I had purchased $2000. This created confusion, frustration, and unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a family vacation. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of communication between Expedia and the hotel. Each party seemed to have different information about my reservation, leaving me caught in the middle trying to resolve an issue that should have been handled before my arrival. As a customer, I should not have to prove that I purchased services that were clearly included in my booking confirmation. I chose Expedia because I trusted the accuracy of the reservation details, and I chose The Westin Cozumel expecting a premium guest experience. Unfortunately, both companies failed to coordinate and honor the all-inclusive package that I paid for. I hope Expedia and The Westin Cozumel review their booking and communication processes to prevent other travelers from experiencing the same issue. Customers should receive exactly what they purchase, without having to spend valuable vacation time resolving reservation discrepancies. Overall, this experience significantly impacted my stay and left me disappointed with both Expedia and The Westi
