Argo Semeru Train has nine executive class cars and compartment suites. Each executive class car on the Argo Semeru Train has approximately 50 seats. Meanwhile, the compartment suites have approximately 16 seats in each car.
For the executive class, there are various facilities that can be obtained by passengers such as air conditioning, reading lights, seats that can be rotated and reclined, and restoration cars.
For compartment suites on the Argo Semeru Train, the facilities presented are much more comprehensive. Passengers will get seats that can be fully reclined and can be rotated (revolving). That way, the position of the seat can be adjusted to the direction of travel of the train. Each passenger will also get a private room equipped with sliding doors that operate automatically.
Each passenger's seat is also equipped with a folding tray and adjustments to the tilt angle of the backrest, legs and head. Not only that, each passenger's seat in the compartment suite also has a massage feature and foot warmer.
In order not to be bored throughout the journey, each passenger also gets entertainment facilities available near the window, namely the Train Onboard Information System. This allows passengers to watch movies or music throughout the journey. The Train Onboard Information System is also equipped with a variety of national television channels that can be used as viewing options during the journey.
The compartment suites decoration on the Argo Semeru Train is inspired by the Dayak tribe of Kalimantan as the color of the room is dominated by golden brown. Passengers will also be served with a variety of special menus along with special drinks throughout the journey.
