Institut Latihan Malaysia Wilayah Timur is an institute that is responsible to provide courses, seminars and trainings to the Islamic religious officers from the multitude of religious agencies around the East Coast area, though it is also open to other interested government agencies. Administered under the Department of Islamic Development which lies under the federal government, it is the first institution of its kind in the East Coast area, located at the area of Kampung Raja, within the district of Besut, state of Terengganu, Malaysia.

Since its establishment back in 16th February 2010, the institution aims to continue the mission and vision of the headquarters in Bangi to be the pioneer and the global leader in Islamic religious-based trainings.
