Perhentian Besar Island has a trail between the Watercolours Paradise to Arwana that will take about thirty minutes to complete and on this trail, one can see large termite trails, lizards, some big fruit bats and even monkeys. The Perhentian Kecil Island, on the other hand, has a number of paved walking trails such as from Coral Bay to Mira Beach that will take thirty minutes to complete. The trails on Perhentian Kecil Island are the perfect trekking places for those who want to see monitor lizards as they are in abundant there.
