This was my first time staying at The Strand Palace and I loved it! The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Our room was excellent, the bed was comfy, the coffee machine was a nice touch and I love Rituals toiletries. The shutters on the windows are perfect to block out noise and light. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and courteous. Thank you

Room was a little small but clean. Would have been nice to have a fridge. However, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the porter service was vey kind and dapper. The location is prime and easily accessible for walking around Covent Garden, Westminster and the West End

Overall a solid hotel, and mainly because the staff are wonderful! My only two complaints are the towels, and noise. The towels are thick and heavy and seem nice, but they create dust and lint on EVERYTHING….so much lint. Sticks to your body and every surface, including dark clothing. As for noise, it’s an older building so I expected it, but this was insane. Whereas the noise from the street I couldn’t hear at all, I could hear every conversation of my neighbors clearly, and even hear them zipping their luggage when they left.

My only issue why I didn’t give this hotel 5 stars all round was that the single bedroom is smaller than I imagined. Although it was adequate I thought for a hotel which was excellent the room would be slightly larger than it was. The facilities in the room are great. Iron and board, shower gel and shampoo, lovely towels, comfortable bed, coffee machine with pods and a welcome chocolate bar in the room. The staff really were excellent throughout right down to the man who works the doors. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we were created at the door by Anthony to the pleasant farewell from Bami, the stay was exceptional. The beds are incredibly comfortable and gave us both the best nights sleep we’ve had in a while! The tea making facilities were good and the refill stations around the lift areas were excellent for topping up your water bottle before heading out! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean with lovely powerful showers. The location of the hotel is also perfect for the theatres in the area and for visiting Covent Garden. Would definitely recommend. Not the cheapest place to stay but worth every penny!

A lovely location. Excellent staff and amenities. The room was classed as ‘Superior Twin’ with only one chair and I found the room and bathroom in my opinion to be claustrophobic. All room doors are heavy and therefore I was considerate to control the closing to prevent noise. Unfortunately many other residents did not think the same so very noisy on entering and leaving room. A store room was next to my room and the cleaning staff held many a loud chat with each other in that room.
