Showing it's age. Overall the staff were good, however we did have to go to guest services to get our room serviced after leaving the card on the door from midday to 7pm,and then when we got back, glasses were were cleaned properly and the coffee wasn't replenished. One lift was out so there were long waits to get to and from the room. All in all a bit disappointed as it was a treat for our wedding anniversary.

Reception was helpful on arrival. I was asked what room I wanted and given a room that was quiet. As important it was cosy, clean and tidy, even had chocolates. The bed was comfy but not too soft and I had a good nights sleep. The Haxwell restaurant was good for fine dining, but for those with a bigger appetite might find it lacking portion wise, but there are plenty of restaurants too choose from on the doorstep. The hotel is well located for central locations and theatres either walking or a short taxi ride away. Compared to some, I found the room good value, just right for rest and relaxation.

The queen delux studio for 4 is only good for 4 if you are a couple with very small children. There’s no room for 4 full grown people plus luggage in these tiny rooms. The photos on Expedia give views of different rooms which is confusing. It’s one queen bed, one small uncomfortable sofa bed with very little clearance all round for luggage and , well for people. The sofa bed had no view of the small pull out tv, so this was really just a cramped crash pad for the night and is the lowest priced room at the hotel for good reason. We paid $324 for one night in march. , The hotel however is very nice and clean, the location is great, close to theaters, walking to covent garden. If you are a family traveling peak season I would go a couple tube stops further out to get better value unless you have cash to burn.

my single room was comfortable , clean and a trifle small. The staff were helpful and efficient. Was very satisfied by the standard overall. it was unfortunate that one of the main lifts was not working so reaching the higher floors could be slow.

Wonderfully situated for both Theatre and Tube access, a few minutes from Covent Garden and plenty of places to eat, although the hotel also has its own restaurant and bars.9999 The room was clean , but smaller than expected for a Superior Twin. The bathroom was adequate with large shower, but adjusting shower height was a little bit of a problem for a shorter person. Customer service was excellent and they dealt quickly with a problem with the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate adequate, it offered a large range of both Continental and English choices, I ate from both. The staff were very professional and there were plenty around if you needed anything. The only negative was the lift service, it was very slow and on more than one occasion there were more than one lift out of operation. Not a problem depending which floor you occupied. I have stayed here previously and would definitely repeat my stay.

Lovely stay from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and efficient (just note there’s a £25 deposit, which I hadn’t expected). The room was spotless, and the little touch of chocolate on arrival was a nice surprise. The location is very central, making it perfect for getting around. Overall, a 10/10 stay—I’d happily return!
