Staff were very courteous and helpful. Rooms were roomy and comfortable. The falls view from our room was incredible! As were the views from the falls viewing areas on the 14th floor.

Always happy to stay at the Oakes hotel. They upgraded our room to higher level river view for free. Was a nice gesture. Room is big and clean. Comfy bed. The only thing is their parking is expensive 50$ a night with taxes which is pricey. Glad I found over night parking close by cost $20 a night. But I would go back again.

Only Free drinks served for breakfast. Old washroom setting. The shower water is very cold…difficulty to adjust to right temperature during shower. The car park entrance & exit areas are not clear indicated.

The view was outstanding. Was informed the room would not be cleaned until day 3. If I need towels I could get clean ones downstairs. The floors, elevator and common areas were not dusted or vacuumed - very dirty. The free coffee area was not kept clean.

The room was not the cleanest, the decor is from the 60's, the tub had the seal coming off the wall, there was no breakfast included, not enough towels need to call for more. Towels are not the best and too small. The toilet didnt work properly. They charge 50 a night for parking which is crazy for the price of the hotel. It needs major renovations done to the hole hotel But the only good thing was the view.

No breakfast. It was expensive, probably because it overlooks the Niagara. Parking over night cost another $50, there are other hotels with free parking. I think the hotel uses its location as an opportunity to rake in as much as it can. the parking lot was not full, there was no need to charge guest extra for parking.
