Sofitel London Heathrow

Room was clean and staff at the front desk as well as inside the restaurant were very pleasant. Only things to comment on were the empty lotion in the bathroom of our room and during dinner, the waiters forgot my pizza order, however they did resolve this efficiently and refunded the charge for the inconvenience, which was appreciated.

A great airport hitel

I have stayed here a couple of times when catching early morning flights. During my previous visit, I was appalled by the shockingly rude behavior of a staff member; despite the hotel being at fault, he repeatedly clicked his tongue while solving an issue in annoyance, and in addition, he spoke in an extremely overbearing, commanding tone to an elderly American couple who were confused about the "Wing" and "Floor" layout. I was relieved not to encounter that rude staff member this time, but the check-in process involved a long wait. The room itself was clean, and the amenities, facilities, and soundproofing against outside noise were all excellent—offering good value for the price. However, the air conditioning was terribly noisy, so I ended up turning it off to sleep.

This was my first time traveling to England or europe, and the fact that the hotel was in Heathrow airport made it feel super safe at like a logical choice for our first night since we were arriving pretty late in the evening. The rooms were incredibly well appointed and quiet, gorgeous amenities, loved the bar and the food, excellent wait staff and valets at the front to help orient you, and the bed was so comfortable that my daughter was checking to see who manufactured it so that we could buy one for the house! We will absolutely be staying at this property again and I highly recommend!!

Super convenient when an overnight stay at the airport is required between connecting flights

We were grateful that the Sofitel Hotel was close to Terminal 5 in Heathrow, allowing us to catch our early morning departure the next day. While it is a good 15 minute walk from Heathrow, no cab or taxi is needed. Just as importantly, the hotel is quiet and comfortable.

For FIVE STAR HOTEL, the breakfasts were ordinary, service mediocre and PEDESTRIAN, UNINSPIRING. AT BEST THIS IS A MEDIOCRE FOUR STAR HOTEL. LACKLUSTRE LUXURY ROOMS, LIGHTING WAS TOO LOW IN BRIGHTNESS. WE DID THINK THE BATHROOM WAS WELL DONE. THE BED WAS TOO SOFT AND PILLOW SELECTION WAS PRETTY AVERAGE, WE CAME FROM AN EXCELLENT, TRUE FIVE STAR IN BEGRAVIA & THE CONTRAST WAS NOTABLE! THE CLUB AMENITIES WERE BELOW AVERAGE, AND SPACE SMALL FOR THE NUMBERS OF GUESTS CHOOSING THE UPGRADE.

Great hotel- quiet comfortable rooms. Perfect for a relaxing layover. Exceptional service and friendly staff at reception, in restaurants, and housekeeping. The buffet breakfast is fantastic with omelettes & eggs made to order.

This is my go-to hotel if im flying out of T5 with British Airways. The doorman is always super helpful and makes a great first impression. I like being able to walk from the hotel into the terminal building without having to go outside or use a shuttle bus. We always find the rooms quiet and comfortable.

We had such a great stay at Sofitel! The staff is very nice and so helpful, the rooms are very well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is delicious. We will be back, thank you very much!

Very expensive for what it is - a little dated but very functional and right next to the airport.

Long lines at checkin. But hotel is beautiful, conveniently located in Terminal 5 and held our luggage until our room was ready while we did some sightseeing in London. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Really devious breakfast buffet with multiple options. I left my sweater and they had it behind the desk when I traveled back through the hotel 2 days later.

Room size good bath good wifi not so good and overpriced but convenient if you have early flights at Heathrow

All good great stay before heading back home

The hotel is rundown smells like Burger King all over the place. The room has mold and very dusty. Horrible experience for the amount of money they charge.

Price is purely on location which is fab if your flight isn’t cancelled and rescheduled from another terminal, hotel check in took way too long given it was being done by about four staff all panicking

The location of the hotels is excellent before flying from T5 The Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable.
