Love staying here, clean, walkable, mall just 5 minutes away, food everywhere around the corner, friendly staff, good service, would definitely come back and yeah recommend.

Not too far from mtr, comfy bed, nice room. but the loby is at b1 zone so you need to go down to check in by stairs. dont forget to pay local tax and also deposit 500hkd. When i checked in there's problem with my card and have no cash. since i just stay for one night the staff good enough to let me in without deposit. helpful and very accommodating.

Room's air conditioner were not working and no other solution than allowing us to open the window. We couldn't check if other rooms have AC problem, but the hallway, elevators and lobby was air cooled. Staff were not friendly during interaction. Check in time 3pm, no early check in available my family which has a child. About this check in time it was the same with 6 years ago. No improvement, it was a decreasing impression for me who have stayed there 5-6 times.

Good location, food and transportation almost all day serve. Staff are great, most of them speak good English and helpful. Breakfast is average, room size a-bit cramp, and no shower option bathroom. Lobby, room and others facility pretty new (well renovated).

The room is kinda small for 2 guests with 2 big luggage. But the location is great, it only took few minutes to go to the nearest train station and bus stop. Too bad, even though there is no smoking policy but there is still smoking people there.

After a late-night arrival at 11 PM, my stay at Dorsett Wan Chai got off to a rocky start—my room wasn't ready. We met Brian at the front office and he checked back-and-forth. Thankfully, we made it to the room, it was comfortable, but the view—a cemetery—was an unexpected surprise not mentioned on the website. While not superstitious, it wasn't the relaxing backdrop I had in mind. Brian at the front desk stepped in, offering an upgrade to a more spacious room, which was a relief after learning how small Hong Kong hotel rooms typically are. Toiletries weren't provided, but they were available for 1 HKD at a lobby vending machine. Drinking water was also missing, with bottled water sold for 7.5 HKD and refills available at a hallway dispenser. The hotel's free shuttle service is handy but not perfectly punctual, so add 3-5 minutes to your schedule. It only offers drop-offs, so you'll need to find your way back. Early flights can be challenging as the MTR doesn't operate before 6 AM, and getting a taxi in the early hours proved difficult without much help from staff. Dorsett Wan Chai offers decent comfort and a central location but comes with quirks. If you book here, confirm room details and plan ahead, especially for transportation.
