In celebration of its 20th anniversary as one of the famous low-cost carriers in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific launched a new flight attendant uniform. The new uniform looks more casual, comfortable, fresh, and polished. The cabin crew uniform looks more cheerful in bright yellow color top and denim trousers and skirt. Cebu Pacific’s female flight attendants now wear a beautiful bright yellow long-sleeve blouse or a short blouse adorned with a tropical green, yellow, black, and white scarf, which represent the airline’s identity. They also wear A-line denim skirts in copper. The male flight attendants, on the other hand, wear a more casual yellow polo shirt with denim trousers. This new uniform makes the flight attendants more approachable by allowing them to move swifter and easier while on-duty.

Airbus passengers, for example, can carry cabin baggage of up to 7 kg with a dimension of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm, and checked baggage of up to 30 kg. ATR passengers, on the other hand, are allowed cabin baggage of up to 7 kg with a dimension of 56 cm x 36 cm x 20 cm, and checked baggage of up to 20 kg. Cebu Pacific was established on 26 August 1988. However, it did not begin its operation until 1996, when it was acquired by JG Summit Holdings, a company owned by the Chinese Gokongwei family, one of the richest families in the Philippines. Cebu Pacific also has a subsidiary company called Cebgo, which only serves domestic flights in the Philippines. The name Cebu Pacific is taken from the Philippine city of Cebu. Although the Mactan Cebu Airport is its main airport, Cebu Pacific’s main office is located in Airline Operations Center Building, Manila Domestic Airport Complex on Old Domestic Road, Pasay City. It also has several hubs such as Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Fransisco Bangoy Airport in Davao, Iloilo International Airport, and Kalibo International Airport. Cebu Pacific started its operation by serving the domestic market. After two years, however, the airline must discontinue its operation after a ban from the government following an accident on 2 February 1998, where a Cebu Pacific aircraft from Manila to Cagayan fell in the Sumagaya Mountain. As a response, Cebu Pacific immediately secured a certificate that allowed it to reoperate, and began serving 24 domestic flights per day. This number kept growing and by 2001, Cebu Pacific was able to serve 80 domestic flights to 18 destinations per day. Cebu Pacific served their first international flight in 2001 with a new route to Hong Kong, flying twice a day. The next year, Cebu Pacific opened a route to Seoul, flying three times a week. Five years after that, Cebu Pacific opened routes from Manila to Singapore and Cebu to Singapore. This made Cebu Pacific the first low-cost carrier in Southeast Asia that served a Cebu-Singapore-Jakarta route. In March 2010, the European Commission banned Cebu Pacific from flying to Europe. However, in October 2010, the European Commission visited the Philippines to evaluate the safety standard from the Philippine aviation committee, which resulted in the European Commission considering to lift the ban. This proves Cebu Pacific’s commitment to keep improving its service quality and safety standard to meet all aviation rules. As the largest airline company in the Philippines, until 2010, Cebu Pacific had served more than 10 million domestic and international passengers. Cebu Pacific uses very young fleets, which consist mostly of Airbus A319 and Airbus A320. In 2007, Cebu Pacific ordered 10 more Airbus A320 fleet. Cebu Pacific Air continues to add new aircrafts each year to meet the passenger demand. The new Cebu Pacific Air fleet, the ATR 72-500, are manufactured in France just to serve the Cebu–Bacolod route. Still in the same year, Cebu bought 16 new Airbus fleets, also manufactured in France. These aircrafts are used to serve both its domestic and international flights. However, Cebu Pacific still needs to increase its aircraft number. Until 2011, Cebu Pacific had managed to carry 50 million passengers from Manila to Beijing. For this reason, Cebu Pacific has bought another Airbus A321neo, which is expected to be delivered in 2021. Currently Cebu Pacific operates with 58 aircrafts, consisting of five Airbus A319, 36 Airbus A320, seven Airbus A330, eight ATR 72-500, and two ATR 72-600. Cebu Pacific also owns the most popular and dominant air cargo service in the Philippines. It offers a competitive, quick, and flexible air cargo service with a vast delivery network for individuals or groups. Cebu Pacific is also partnering with Singaporean low-cost carrier Tigerair. This partnership enables both airlines to acquire vast route network, better flight frequency, and greater service with lower prices. Currently, Cebu Pacific offers flights to 38 domestic destinations in the Philippines and 30 international destinations in Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and the United States.
Cebu Pacific provides a wide range of international and domestic destinations. Cebu Pacific provides its service from all Philippine airports, including Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL), Clark International Airport (CRK), and Mactan–Cebu International Airport (CEB). Some of the popular routes offered by Cebu Pacific including Manila to Davao, Manila to Seoul, Manila to Tokyo, Manila to Cebu, Manila to Puerto Princesa Palawan, Manila to Bacolod, Manila to Iloilo, and Manila to Caticlan Boracay.
