Great property to visit with young adult. Great location...

The location was very good close to the Harbor and Opera house . A nice walking distance in a good weather. The room was very good . What I didn’t like , when I checked in I thought my booked room overlooks the harbor and opera house , but the receptionist said not exactly and that I need to upgrade against $150 a night which I found it very high . After some bargain I got for $100 a night . Next day I complained to the management saying that I should have upgraded for free cus this is the room I booked . Then they reduced to $50 a night which I had to accept for not having to back and unpack .

Incredibly attentive staff, super friendly and helpful. We had a gorgeous view of the opera house and circular quay. The room was very clean and the bed was like sleeping on clouds. We’ll definitely be back.

Well worth the money! Very close to the cruise port. Great location for walking to Sydney opera house, as well as other tourist sites. Very clean and comfortable hotel.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait till our next visit. Great value for money in choosing a room on the high floors for accessing the Horizon Club of which was excellent. Staff were lovely, very helpful and inviting. Our greatest experience for many years. A little above our usual budget but the benefits in being able to access the Horizon Club for complementary buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a great spread of food and drink from 6-8pm made it all worthwhile. Totally awesome views. Only downside is the multiple sets of stairs to drag luggage from Circular Quay to front door was a struggle, Mack sure you grab an uber to get there.

We came for our daughter's birthday and the staff and amenities were so perfect. It really made it a memorable stay and we already want to come back! The horizon club eas worth it in our opinion too!

Great central location, Old Town called "The Rocks", Opera House, Sidney Harbour Bridge, Cruise Ship Terminal, "light urban rail" is walking distance

Great location and amazing breakfast

Excellent location. Reception staff very helpful but lacked local information which would have been of help i.e short cuts to the piers. Clean all over the hotel but house keeping lacking in our room, i.e not clean the first day. Furing stay, cutlery and linen napkin and glass wasn't taken away to be cleaned until a day later.

We requested some things on check in and it took 3 phone calls before they were delivered to our room. The rooms are a little tired. Room was not soundproof. Beautiful view, but the windows were dirty. We couldn't use the top floor bar as there was a private function booked.

We had the best time at Sydney Shangrila. It was the best birthday trip!

Very nice sheets. The bathtub is deep and comfortable. The view is nice.

Club lounge was unexpectedly great with nibbles in the afternoon and light snack and wine etc at night Our room overlooked the harbour and was gorgeous and very big

The standard of room is outdated very minimal view of Opera House. This hotel needs to uplift its game.
