Tile floors throughout the room. Sticky in a couple of places like dried coffee or soda. You could literally feel your shoes come unstuck from walking in a certain, open area between bed and bathroom. Registering told us to save parking receipt and they'll "validate" upon departure. They don't. Your choice is to pay them at the counter or in parking garage $30. That's NOT validating parking. Now I see I have a pending $105 charge on my credit card for incidentals and we only sleep there one night and checked out at 0730 after paying $244 for a room. Never using anything or taking anything.

The room we were assigned was not clean when we checked in. The maid had obviously not cleaned it, bed was unmade, dirty towels on floor etc. We went and got a new room assigned at the front desk, this one had been cleaned. Other issue as others have noted, this hotel does not have adjustable air conditioning. We attempted to turn it down to 69 degrees as it was 72 when we got there only to find out it’s central air so though there are temperature controls they do not work and do not accept changes. They told me to close my curtains to cool the room more and gave me a fan. I feel like the A/C qualification is intentionally misleading and was not happy with this at all. I also do not like that the hotel responds to those complaining about the lack of temperature control in other review responses with “sorry that’s not normal etc” when they ABSOLUTELY know that is normal. Even the front desk was annoying in this regard, only the maintenance person they sent up to check the a/c told me the truth that I couldn’t adjust it. The experience otherwise was great, elevators were quick - rarely had to wait for more than 1 minute and staff were very nice. Also hotel is very centrally located with a 30 second walk to the Berry UQAM green and orange train lines. The entry way floors were a bit dirty, it was raining but not sure they clean those very often. I would not recommend staying here in the summer during warm/hot weather but would be fine the other 3 seasons.

. The front desk staff could be friendlier and more helpful when resolving reservation issues. I made two bookings due to a lack of availability, and when I arrived, I was told I had three; though my app still only shows two. I proceeded with check-in, but the agent checked me in for all available bookings assuming I needed one room per reservation, and charged me accordingly. He then realized his mistake, voided the charges, and redid the check-in correctly. It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received the $1,300 refund from that error. I always approach hotel staff with a friendly attitude, but the team here was notably standoffish throughout the process. The billing issue needs to be resolved urgently, and a warmer, more attentive attitude overall would go a long way
