Sultan Ismail LRT station is a light rail transit (LRT) station operated by RapidKL and served by the Ampang Line. The station was opened on December 16, 1996, as part of the first phase of the STAR system's opening, alongside 13 adjoining stations along the Sultan Ismail-Ampang route. It is located opposite of Sime Darby head office.

The station consists of two sheltered side platforms along a double tracked line and there is a single concourse housing ticketing facilities between the ground level and the platform level. All levels are linked by stairways and escalators and the station is equipped with basic facilities such as public toilets, rubbish bins and prayer rooms. The first train departs at 6.00am every day and last train at 11.35pm from Monday to Saturday and at 11.20pm on Sunday and Public Holidays.

By Car

From Kuala Lumpur city centre, it takes around 10 minutes to Sultan Ismail LRT Station by using Damansara road. The journey from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to this LRT Station consumes about 1 hour via ELITE highway.

By Train

You can also access Sultan Ismail LRT Station by any Ampang-Sri Petaling line stop. This station is also connected to the MR9 Medan Tuanku Monorail station.

Fahrenheit 88

Fahrenheit 88 is a five-storey structure lies along Jalan Bukit Bintang. It was formerly known as the KL Plaza and was given a RM100 million revamp since its change of ownership. The 300,000 square feet shopping mall offers a wide selection of stores and the main anchor tenant is Japanese fashion retailer UNIQLO which occupies three floors at the far right corner of the complex. KL Tower

KL Tower is Malaysia’s most popular landmark that stands at 421 metres next to Petronas Twin Towers. The construction of the tower was a three-phase process and was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on 1 October 1996. Among the notable guests were the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Jaafar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Najihah, the wives of the Sultan of Brunei, Sultana Hajah Saleha and Princess Hajah Mariam Binti Abdul Aziz. Besides becoming the telecommunication tower in Malaysia, this tower also features Atmosphere 360 restaurant alongside the most spectacular view of the city centre, a theatre, an amphitheatre, beautiful pools, a fast food restaurant and souvenir shops. This tower opens daily from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
