Medan Tuanku Monorail station is a Malaysian elevated monorail train station that serves as a part of the KL Monorail. The station was opened on August 31, 2003.The Medan Tuanku station is situated above Jalan Sultan Ismail, just south of Chow Kit and located east from an intersection with Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. The monorail line runs parallel along Sultan Ismail Road, up until the Bukit Bintang station, after which the line turns west to Jalan Imbi at the both road intersection.

Situated above Jalan Sultan Ismail, the Medan Tuanku monorail station is located approximately 1km east of Sungai Kelang, with nearby tourist’s destinations including the interesting dining and nightlife venues of Asian Heritage Row just few step away. Whilst the new shopping mall, Quill City Mall is situated next to the Monorail Station.

By Plane

You may take flight from any airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). From KLIA, you can take taxi to Medan Tuanku Monorail Station. The distance from airport to Medan Tuanku Monorail Station is about 60 km or 47 minute drive away.

By Car

If you travel from South and North peninsular of Malaysia you may use North-South Expressway to reach Medan Tuanku Monorail Station. If you travel from Kuala Lumpur you may use Jalan Sultan Ismail to reach Medan Tuanku Monorail Station.

By Train

You can take monorail from any monorail station to reach Medan Tuanku Monorail Station. Rapid KL operates a train from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station to Medan Tuanku Monorail Station every 5 minutes. Tickets cost RM 2 - RM 7 and the journey takes 7 min.

By Bus

GoKL City Bus operates a bus from Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station to Medan Tuanku Monorail Station every 10 minutes. Tickets cost is free and the journey takes 47 min.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial is one of Malaysia prime destinations that you should visit during your trip to Kuala Lumpur. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial was officially opened by Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia's Prime Minister on 11 November 1994.
