The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum

Formerly relocated to Yishun from the Chinese Garden is The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum. It is a sanctuary for more than 200 turtles and tortoises of over 60 species, including a host of rare reptiles. Visiting this site, you can expect to be surprised by the quirky and splendid mata-mata, the fearsome alligator snapping turtles, and the more than seven decades old Asian pond turtle. Not only that, but you can also see it with your own eyes a double-headed, six-legged amphibian which the museum owners claimed to have found in their courtyard.

If you are bringing children to The Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum, they can head to the petting corner. There, they will get up close and personal with some of the gentler critters.
