Seruyan Hilir is a sub-district within the administrative area of Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. Formerly, this sub-district included Kuala Pembuang Village which is the capital of Seruyan District. Now, Kuala Pembuang is divided into two villages, namely Kuala Pembuang I and Kuala Pembuang II.
Kuala Pembuang is one of the oldest settlements in Seruyan District. The name in Hikayat Banjar was written in 1663. The central village has one airport that connects Seruyan Hilir with several major cities around Kalimantan.
