We stayed at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro and found it great for a budget hotel. The cafe downstairs was very good, the room was comfortable but for me it was the exceptional reception staff who went above and beyond anything I could have asked for.
We will definitely choose to stay their in the future.

It 's very comfortable place, it has a common room which provide free coffee and tea drink, WiFi, television, fridge, and etc. The room is standard but clean. I recommend it.

Flexstay Inn Tokiwadai
I had a very pleasant stay here. The staffs are friendly, rooms are spacious and clean, and they have individual bathrooms. Location-wise, it is also quite convenient as it is just around 5 minutes walk to the train station.
