Hilton London Metropole

Stayed here for one night as a family and the room was lovely and comfortable, the Aircon was very appreciated and we all slept very well.

Great location, friendly staff, comfy beds!

Am a Hilton Honors Gold member. The positives: Great breakfast! Train station is within close proximity to the hotel. The negatives: The room looked tired and dismal!! The ceiling had white lights on half of the room and the other half had warm white lights! The wall behind the flush made weird noises after flushing There is this irritating info panel (that states “UHD TV” “Intelligent Processor”, “Quad Core Processor”, “4K Active HDR”, “Ultra Surround”) that appears and covers a partial side of the tv screen and it appears either right side of the screen or left side. Can’t get rid of it! Very irritating! The sink was choked as the sink stopper had sunk in; but fortunately the hotel sent a technician to fix it. The wing I was staying is in need of renovation!

I'm not sure they can legally call this place a Hotel, roadside Motels are better than this place. The wallpaper was peeling, the ceiling was falling off, the elevators were broken, the fridge didn't work, the floor wasn't vacuumed, and the fan in the bathroom didn't work. I shall avoid all Hilton's from now on.

Stayed for 4 nights. Comfortable beds and ample space for a hotel room, safe in the room. The location is close to 2 subway lines. The room was in the adjacent newer building which often had a locked entrance, so getting to and from the room was a long process through the hallways past the restaurant and to the main entrance by reception. There are a few homeless tents under the overpass next to hotel but the area was safe overall.

Excellent service. Arrived from Vancouver after a nine hour flight about 30 minutes early for check in. The girl behind the counter originally asked us to wait 30 minutes but when I said we were dying to get in and get washed up and have a nap after a red eye flight she got us in immediately and no extra charge. These little acts of kindness are what separates the good from the great places to stay.

Excellent hotel close to the underground and very clean

We stayed in a 3-bedroom suite. There was enough space for 5 of us. Mark and Spencer with some clothing and plenty of food options was just across the street. Access to Edgware and Paddington Stations were well within walking distance. Wonderful restaurants and convenience stores are also located conveniently nearby. If you want to dine at the hotel restaurants, Tyburn Kitchen was a favorite during our stay! All in all, wonderful hotel for a vacation!

Facilities old. Had to change rooms, woke up to a wet carpet from a leak in the tub. 2 night stay needs renovations.

Overall a pretty good place for short term stay and site seeing for a couple.

Great location from Paddington station. Very clean and comfortable.

A huge hotel which was also really busy because of the marathon at the wend. We only started 1 night as we were flying out the next day but it did the job. It's really convenient for Paddington and there are also some good restaurants around there too.

Constant noise could be heard in corridors, outside and TV’s in apposing room's throughout the night causing disturbed sleep.

Lovely hotel for an excellent price. This is the second time I’ve chosen to stay here, which I think says a lot. Very clean, lovely room and bathroom, I can’t fault it.

Conveniently located near the British Museum and Buckingham palace. Walkable to most points of interest in London (even Sherlock Holmes residence). The hotel staff were kind and friendly. Check in and check out were both quick processes.
