What are the top 3 things to do in Nuremberg

Kaiserburg – Located on the steep sandstone cliffs over the north side of Nuremberg’s Altstadt is a castle that was a prominent location during the Holy Roman Empire. This castle serves as the meeting place of the imperial courts and Imperial Diet of newly elected emperors. You can get to the observation platform on the topmost floor and enjoy the panoramic view of the city.

Germanic National Museum – The Germanic National Museum is the best place to visit if you would like to learn more about the country. There are more than 25,000 exhibits showcasing the history of the country. The galleries are located in a complex partly made up of the Nuremberg Charterhouse, where you can see medieval period arts, as well as decorative items, toys, armour, books, scientific instruments, clothing, musical instruments, liturgical treasures, prehistoric and ancient archaeology, toys, and many more. You will probably need to spend your entire day here because this museum is massive with many things to see. The entrance fee to this museum is RM36 for adults or you can also purchase the family ticket for RM46.

Schöner Brunnen – One of the wonders of Nuremberg is a 19-metre Gothic fountain located nearby the main market square. Heinrich Beheim, a famous architect and stonemason in the year 1385, creates this majestic fountain. The design of this fountain is inspired by the Gothic church spire and the forty polychrome figures on four levels symbolize the Holy Roman Empire's worldview. At the bottom of the fountain are statues that represent the philosophy and the seven liberal arts, below the four evangelists and the four church fathers. Crowning the fountains are Moses and the seven prophets. This fountain was encapsulated in concrete shell during WWII to protect it from being damaged.
