Sangatta is a city located within East Kutai, Kalimantan, Indonesia in the Borneo Island. The city is divided to north and south, whereby North Sangatta is where the capital of administration and commercial activities for the East Kutai regency. As there is no direct flight available from Kuala Lumpur to the city for now. Hence, passengers from Kuala Lumpur are required to take a transit flight to Balikpapan before reaching Sangatta.
