Jasin Hot SpringJasin Hot Springs is a hot spring located in Bemban, 20 km from Malacca City. The hot spring was originally established by businessman Tan Kim Tean from Singapore on 8 May 1884 as a public bathing house. Sourcing from three natural alkaline hot spring wells, the initial hot spring water at 69 degree Celsius is collected before being channeled to different pools and added with water for the proper temperatures. Pools are categorized as yellow, orange and red areas with different temperatures ranging from 34ºC to 49°C.
This hot springs are managed according to the Japanese onsen concept. Therefore, the pools are named such as Ashi-yu (foot bath), 1884 Ofuro (bath house), Kaburi-yu, Utase and Kolam Renang Mineral (open pool). Two children play pools with proper temperature are also available. But, don’t expect for the genuine Japanese-styled onsen experience, as it is just the pools name are taken from Japan. You can bring outside food but be responsible to keep clean. A RM1 discount is given to all returning customers who could show a used ticket. Open from 3 p.m. to Midnight on Monday / 9 a.m. to Midnight on Tuesday to Thursday / 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday to Sunday.
