John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is the main commercial airport for Columbus, the capital of Ohio. Its story goes back to 1929, when it opened as Port Columbus. The airport now carries the name of John Glenn, the Ohio-born astronaut and long-serving US senator. Many locals still call it Port Columbus.
