Catarman National Airport is referred to as Catarman Airport is an airport serving the general area of Catarman. It is located in the province of Northern Samar in the Philippines. The airport is categorized as a Class 2 principal (minor domestic) airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, a body of the Department of Transportation and Communications that is responsible for the operations. This airport consists of various features and facilities such as facilities for disabled people, restaurants and convenience stores. Catarman’s climate is under the hot sun for most of the time. Usually, it will be warm and sunny throughout the years with little rains except for typhoon season which the weather can be unpredictable with heavy rains and thunderstorm. 1. Tuasan Falls - At the base of the waterfall, there is a cool and shallow pool of water that allows visitors to swim during hot days. For those who prefer adventurous activities, there is a challenging track that consists of dirt, slippery rocks and stony rivers. You also can swim near the centre of the falls where the water gets deeper. When you arrive, you can see the beautiful waterfalls and naturally round pool surrounded by the bedrocks and green forest. It is also a swimming spot among the locals and tourist and it is best to immerse your body into the cold and refreshing water after a long day of trekking. The road to get here is concrete to the town. Visitors also can enjoy a picnic in the area and rent a couple of sheds if available. The entrance fee for adult is 30 peso and children under ten years old is 15 peso.
2. Sacred Heart Plaza - Sacred Heart Plaza is an attraction located in the city and owned and maintained by the local government. It is an area of the natural park and features trails for walking, biking and other activities.
3. Gaisano Grand Malls - Gaisano Grand Malls is a chain of shopping malls under the Philippine-based Gaisano Grand Group of Companies. Modesta Singson Gaisano established White Gold Department Store in Cebu City in the 1970s. In 1981, Modesta Singson Gaisano died and her department store was handled by her five sons who are David, Stephen, Henry, Victor and John. Gaisano Grand Malls was founded by Benito S. Gaisano, son of Henry S. Gaisano and currently, it becomes one of the most famous shopping malls in Philippine.
