Heathrow's current airline directory lists both at T4.
Heathrow Express. The Elizabeth line also serves Paddington and continues across central London.
The Elizabeth line connects Heathrow with Liverpool Street and other central London stations.
The Piccadilly line.
Yes. Use contactless or a free inter-terminal transfer ticket for the airport-only journey.
No. Travel into London is a separate fare-paying journey.
No. Your flight itinerary determines the baggage, check-in and connection arrangements.
London Heathrow Airport (LHR) has several passenger terminals. Your terminal affects both your flight and the journey into London. Terminal 4 is used by airlines including Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways. For city travel, the main rail choices are Heathrow Express, the Elizabeth line and the Piccadilly line, each serving a different style of journey.
Heathrow's airline directory lists Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways at Terminal 4. These are useful examples for travelers comparing connecting journeys from the Philippines, rather than a complete list of T4 carriers.
Use the terminal for the operating airline and booked flight when arranging a train, driver or airport meeting. An airline alliance does not place all its members in one Heathrow terminal. For an onward flight, identify both arrival and departure terminals before deciding how the connection will work.
Heathrow Express runs nonstop to Paddington, making it useful when Paddington is the desired arrival point or interchange. The Elizabeth line continues through central London, including Bond Street, Tottenham Court Road, Farringdon and Liverpool Street. A through journey may avoid changing trains at Paddington.
The Piccadilly line is Heathrow's lower-cost rail option into central London. Compare the station nearest your accommodation with the number of changes and the luggage you are carrying. The fastest advertised airport segment is not necessarily the simplest complete trip to a hotel.
TfL provides free Elizabeth line transfers between the Terminals 2 & 3 station, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5. Use a contactless payment method for that airport-only journey, without a fare being charged, or obtain a free inter-terminal transfer ticket from a station machine.
Take a train serving the terminal you need; airport-bound Elizabeth line services do not all terminate at the same Heathrow station. The free arrangement applies to travel between the airport terminals. A journey onward into London has its own fare.
Heathrow separates its terminal-transfer guidance for landside and self-connecting travelers from the process for a flight connection. A traveler already holding an onward flight should use the airport's connection instructions for that itinerary, rather than automatically exiting to the public rail station.
For separately booked flights, include any baggage collection, check-in and security needed between them when assessing the journey. A free train between terminal stations solves the transport leg; it does not by itself establish that the complete flight connection is protected or achievable.
