There are two terminals and a concourse within the airport, all of which are interconnected by free airport shuttle buses. The city centre is easily reachable by passengers from the airport via intercity buses, train services, ferry and taxis.

Climate pattern in Butuan and Seoul

Seoul is a four-seasonal city and the weather is influenced by monsoon. During the summer, the weather is usually hot and humid. Temperature is about 28 degrees centigrade on average but can reach as high as 40 degrees in summer. The city centre is also much warmer than Seoul suburbs in this season due to the urban heat island effect. Summer also coincides with the East Asian monsoon, carrying heavy rainfall especially in July and August. In contrast, the temperature in winter is often below zero degrees and snowfall is common during this season.

  • Changdeokgung – Changdeokgung, or Changdeok Palace, is one of the Five Grand Palaces which was built in the 14th century during the Joseon Dynasty. The palace structures were badly affected during Japanese occupation and only 30 per cent of the original building structure has been preserved until today. Among the structures include the Donhwamun Gate, Juhamnu Pavilion, Yeon-Gyeongsang Residence, and four main halls designated for the previous government offices and the royal residence. Also within the palace is the oldest bridge in Seoul, Geumcheongyo Bridge. Apart from the palace structures, visitors will enjoy the scenery in Huwon, 32-hectare garden behind the palace building. Various floral species can be found in this garden, including trees dated over 300 years old. The architecture and garden design of Changdeokgung has enlisted it under the UNESCO World Heritage List.
  • 63 Building – 63 Building, or 63 SQUARE, is one of the famous skyscrapers in Seoul. The building is one of its kind and currently is the tallest gold-clad structure in the world. Visitors can experience the view of Seoul city from the observation deck on the 60th floor. On the way to the observation deck, visitors will be able to ride on the observation elevators, which provides the sight of the city on your way up. Also on the 60th floor is 63art, the tallest art gallery in the world. If you want to enjoy eating with a stunning view, visitors can go to the restaurants located in the 59th and 59th floor. The lower floors of 63 Building are dedicated to a shopping mall, a large aquarium and an IMAX theatre.
