Incheon International Airport – Incheon International Airport is the primary airport serving Seoul city and the largest airport in South Korea. Its world-class service has been recognised as the cleanest airport, one of the fastest customs processing, and the best international transit airport in the world. Incheon Airport is the world’s fifth busiest airport and has served up to 58 million passengers annually. More than 70 local and international airlines are operating in the airport, including Philippine Airlines, Philippines AirAsia, Cebu Pacific, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. There are two terminals and a concourse within the airport, all of which are interconnected by free airport shuttle buses. The city centre is easily reachable by passengers from the airport via intercity buses, train services, ferry and taxis.
Seoul is a four-seasonal city and the weather is influenced by monsoon. During the summer, the weather is usually hot and humid. Temperature is about 28 degrees centigrade on average but can reach as high as 40 degrees in summer. The city centre is also much warmer than Seoul suburbs in this season due to the urban heat island effect. Summer also coincides with the East Asian monsoon, carrying heavy rainfall especially in July and August. In contrast, the temperature in winter is often below zero degrees and snowfall is common during this season.
