About Jember

Jember Regency is one of a regency of East Java region, Indonesia. The population was 2,332,729 at the 2010 surveys with the latest official estimate (as at 2014) is 2,398,255. Its administrative headquarters is the metropolitan area of Jember, which with 332,612 inhabitants in 2010 is the third city area in East Java district (after Malang and Surabaya) but does not have city or town status.
