Some of the airlines that operate here are Japan Airlines, AllNippon Airways and JetStar Japan, to name a few. It is easy to get o the city from the airport. Iyotetsu runs a limousine bus service between the airport and JR Matsuyama railway station, Matsuyama City railway station, and Matsuyama Tourist Port for rail and ferry links. There’s also a bus to Dogo Onsen for hotels and sightseeing. You can also take a taxi.

You can take one of the four walking paths, taking around 20-30 minutes on foot, or you can ride the ropeway or chairlift. The ropeway is an enclosed gondola, while the chairlift is simply a single seat. Take note that the chairlift ride with no seatbelts and your legs dangling below! If you’re brave and willing, the chairlift is a thrilling ride.
  • Dogo Onsen – Japan is famous for its Onsen or hot springs. If you're interested inJapanese hot springs, thenDōgo Onsenis one of the most iconic in the country. It's the oldest hot spring in Japan with an incredible 3,000 years of history. There's even a special entrance and bath for the exclusive use of the Emperor! You can also have tea and snacks after taking a bath.
  • Iyonada Monogatari Sightseeing Train – This train takes retro feeling to a modern world. This train incorporates together the elegance of vintage locomotive travel with a unique display of Japanese hospitality and modern life. You can choose between the two routes, a two-hour course that runs between JR Matsuyama Station and JR Iyo-Ōzu Station, and a longer course that takes an extra half hour to Yawatahama Station. It is a great way to see Matsuyama and also relax.
