The climate of Krabi is hot all year round, tropical, with a rainy season because of the southwest monsoon, which runs from May until end of October, and a dry season starts from December until end of March. In March, and especially in April, before the monsoon, there is a certain rise in rain showers. In November, there can still be plentiful rainfall, especially in the first part, either for any interruption in the withdrawal of the monsoon or because of a tropical cyclone. During the dry season, however, there can be some showers as well, especially in December, when some of them may infrequently be particularly strong.
