3. India Gate – The India Gate is the landmark of New Delhi. It is a magnificent stone arch that was built in commemorating the Indian soldiers that were killed in World War 1. The walls of the gate are inscribed with more than 90,000 soldiers' name. Burning oil is placed at the bottom of the gate to light up the flame for the dead.
