The airport is in Wawama, Morotai Selatan, serving the island rather than a different arrival in mainland Halmahera.

This is a stay on Morotai itself, with a road transfer, rather than an offshore island reached by boat.

The resort offers different villa and suite categories. Kulewe is specifically marketed as an oceanfront villa with a private pool, so compare that category if the pool is important; do not assume every accommodation type has the same feature. Match your room choice, meals and transfer arrangement to the confirmed reservation. Activity offers and expired seasonal packages do not establish what is included in an ordinary room booking.

Metita requires a separate island transfer

Metita Beach & Dive Resort is on Metita Island, off the southern tip of Morotai. Its operator lists ensuite bungalows, a restaurant, bar and lounge, and a saltwater swimming pool. A stay there continues beyond OTI with a coordinated onward journey, so confirm the airport pickup and boat arrangements before committing to the flight dates.

The resort describes an alternative approach through Ternate, Sofifi and Tobelo using road and sea transport. That is a different journey from landing at OTI, with several separate stages. Compare the complete transfer plan directly with the property if considering it. Do not assume a flight search ending at Ternate includes a drive across Halmahera or a boat to Metita.

Plan Kolorai and Dodola as boat outings

Kolorai is a separate island and tourism village in South Morotai, with homestays and local food and craft activities. If you want to stay there, arrange the crossing and accommodation together. It is a different base from a hotel in Daruba or a resort elsewhere on Morotai, even when all are marketed under the same destination name.

Dodola is another island outing, usually approached by boat from Daruba. Its sandbank connects the two parts at low tide, so the experience depends on conditions rather than being available in the same form throughout the day. Ask an operator to plan a realistic route and return, and distinguish the boat hire, meals and equipment included in the quotation.

Use your base to shape the holiday

For a short stay, choose one main base and organise a manageable number of outings from it. Staying near Daruba, on the Pacific coast or offshore at Metita changes the starting point for each day. Repeatedly transferring between those settings can consume time that might otherwise be spent at the beach or on an excursion.
