PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (PALYJA) is a water company which provides clean water services in West Jakarta area, as appointed by PAM Jaya. This appointment was based on the official agreement between PAM Jaya with PALYJA from 1 February 1998.
Based on that agreement, PALYJA is authorized to manage the clean water in West Jakarta for 25 years, from when it was first agreed in 1998. PALYJA claims to have opened clean water access to over 3 million people in West Jakarta since 1998, using more than 405 connectors. The water source is taken from Jatiluhur dam, Krukut river, of Cengkareng watershed.
In doing its operation, PALYJA has the responsibility to produce, distribute, operate, and maintain the water infrastructure in the western part of Jakarta. This includes customer services such as recording the meter usage readings, sending the bill, facilitating payment and running a help center.
PALYJA is currently owned by Suez company (with 51% shares) and PT Astratel Nusantara (49% shares). The highest management position at PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya is now held by Alan James Thompson. PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya employs more than 1,200 workers. The PALYJA head office is located at the 16th floor of Dipo Tower, at Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto Kav. 51 – 52, Central Jakarta.
The current system, for payment, is as follows; all water billing from PALYJA Jaya is sent by the company’s couriers to each house. For some customers who are no longer receiving the letter, the bill may have been switched to the online system on PALYJA official website.
Besides using the official website, PALYJA has also partnered with other companies to facilitate payment. These partners include convenience stores, post offices, selected banks and Traveloka. To simplify your way of checking water bill from PALYJA, you can follow these steps on Traveloka:
1. Type http://www.traveloka.com/ on your browser which directs you to the Traveloka official website.
2. For smartphone users, you can also access Traveloka through the Traveloka App which is available for free download in App Store or Play Store, and start using the app.
3. Log in to your Traveloka account, or sign up and register if you don’t have one.
4. Choose ‘Bills & Top-up’, then choose ‘PDAM’
5. On the designated box, input your customer ID number and choose ‘PALYJA Jakarta’ as the chosen ‘Water Company’. Click ‘Continue’
6. Once you’ve put in the correct data, the following page will show you bill details.
Officially, PALYJA has a few payment partners, which gives customers the options to pay their bill using a method they find most convenient. PALYJA’s payment partners are convenient stores such as Alfamart and Indomaret, Indonesia Post Offices, and a few selected banks.
To make the online transaction even more practical, Traveloka now provides a new feature to pay your PALYJA Jakarta bill. This feature is available on both the Traveloka website and mobile application.
To be able to use this feature, PALYJA customer must first have a Traveloka account. Create your account easily through Traveloka website or on the Traveloka mobile app. After that, follow the same steps as when you are checking your PALYJA bill.
When the screen shows your billing details, you can continue the payment process by clicking ‘Continue’. This menu will direct you to the payment page. As of now, Traveloka offers many payment methods to pay your PALYJA Jakarta bill. Those payment methods are UANGKU, bank transfers, ATM, credit cards, BCA Klikpay, and Alfamart.
Customers can choose the payment methods they find most convenient and pay the bill within the given time limit. After you have paid the bill, wait for payment verification and the successful transaction notice that will be sent to your Traveloka account.
