Highlights attractions in Coron

  • Coron Panorama at Kayangan Lake - The Kayangan Lake, located north of the island, is one of the most famous and most photographed spots in Coron. The breathtakingly beautiful lake is only a few minutes boat ride from Coron town, followed by a 15 to 30-minute hike. Apart from the splendid view, visitors can cool themselves off with a swim in the lake, visit the caves and discover hidden passages between limestone cliffs at the lake. We recommend you to spend one day at the lake as there is much to do and see.
  • WW II Shipwreck Dive - If you are an avid diver, you should not miss out on diving at the WW II shipwreck dive site. The site consists of a Japanese convoy which includes supply and warships that sunk in Coron Bay in the year 1944. Not many shipwreck dive sites have these many wrecks at one site. At the Coron shipwreck dive site, divers will be able to see seven ships lying on the seabed at a depth of 10 to 40 meters. The coral-encrusted ships are now home to an abundant array of marine life.
  • Coron Twin Lagoon - A 20-minute boat ride from Coron town will take you to the Twin Lagoon. Here the waters range from a luminescent turquoise to emerald green. Visitors will be greeted by pristine waters and limestone karst formations that have been shaped and twisted by erosion. You can take a dip in the lagoon but do be careful as there are large sea urchins scattered along the bottom of the ocean floor.
