The airport is labelled as the first eco-airport in the Philippines and the country’s green gateway. The airport is officially categorized as the international airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), despite currently serving domestic flights as the Philippine Airlines ended its Tagbilaran-Seoul flights on early February 2019. The airport serves as the entry to Tagbilaran and the rest of central Bohol for domestic air travellers. It also is less than an hour's flight from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, which is an entry to the Central Philippines for international tourists. The airport was initiated on 27 November 2018.

Bacolod Airport - It is the primary airport that serves the general area of the Bacolod Metropolitan Area. It is just approximately 16 kilometres northeast of Bacolod City. Since it is an international airport, Bacolod Airport is the busiest airport serving the surrounding city and Negros Island area. The airlines that operate in this airport is Cebu Pacific and Philippines Airlines, with the upgraded non-stop flight to an international route to Seoul, South Korea as its seasonal flights. Bacolod has many interesting shops and diners within the airport so you can shop or eat while waiting for the plane to depart or arrive at the terminal. The plaza is a trapezoidal park with a girdle of trees around the edge and a gazebo at the middle. Four circular fountains are found in the scattered of the trees.
  • Capitol Park and Lagoon – It is a regional park situated in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines. One of the structures of the park are matching sculptures depicting a woman standing alongside a water buffalo and that of a man pulling another water buffalo. These sculptures are placed at the northern and southern ends of the lagoon and it’s a very popular place to travel.
  • Negros Museum – The museum is a privately-owned situated in the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Complex in Bacolod City, Philippines. The structure was built in late 1925 as the Provincial Agriculture Building. The museum is the first-ever in its kind to locate precious archaeological artifacts but rather was designed to exhibit a Negrense lifestyle and society, which includes old cabinets and loaned items from ancestral houses.
