Changsa also is known as the capital city of Hunan Province in the south-central part of the People's Republic of China. It is widely known as the most populous city in the province. Changsha Huanghua International Airport – located 25 kilometres away from downtown Changsa, Changsha Huanghua International Airport serves the area of Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province. It is equipped with two terminal buildings and operated by Hunan Airport Authority. The first terminal was opened in 2000 with a capacity of 6 million passengers annually. The terminal serves some airlines such as Chengdu Airlines, Okay Airways, Tibet Airlines, Kunming Airlines and many more. The second airlines were opened in 2011 and are known as the fifth largest terminal in mainland China.
