Wuhan is a city that is located in Hubei province, China. It is located in between the Yangtze and also Han Rivers. It is the most populous city in the whole of Central China and is also a very important transportation hub. China also relies on the city for its military source, economy and also political development. Wuhan is a beautiful city with many lakes and parks. Mactan–Cebu International Airport – Mactan–Cebu International Airport is the second busiest airport in the Philippines. It is located in the Visayas region at Lapu – Lapu City on Mactan Island. This airport is also the world's first international resort airport. It has a runway that is 3300 meter and was built by the United States in 1956. The airport also has two terminals dedicated each for domestic and international flights. Those who are flying from Manila may take flights such as Cebu Pacific or Royal Air Philippines to go to Cebu. Other airlines that operate here are Korean Air, Pan Pacific Airlines, Tigerair, Scoot and many more.
Wuhan Tianhe International Airport – Wuhan Tianhe International is the airport for the whole of Hubei. It is located in Huangpo District and is the latest airport replacing two previous ones in 1995. It is only 26 kilometres away from the city centre. Beginning January 1, 2019, several countries such as Korea and Russia may enter the country for 144 hours without a visa. Therefore this airport has become rather famous for international tourists. The airport has three terminals and one international terminal. The airport has many destinations lined up. Unfortunately, it does not make its way to the Philippines. Therefore those from Manila may need to go to Kuala Lumpur first or other South-East Asian countries first then make their way to Wuhan. Some of the airlines that operate here are Cathay Dragon, Hainan Airlines, Lanmei Airlines and many other airlines.
Wuhan has a subtropical humid monsoon climate. It has an abundance of rainfall, sunshine and distinct seasons. The winter in Wuhan is very cold. However, there is no snowfall. The temperature may drop to -5 degrees Celcius. The summer in Wuhan, on the other hand, is very hot and humid. It can go as high as 40 degrees Celcius. The weather increases the humidity level. Wuhan is also known as "furnace cities" due to the high heat and humidity.
