  • Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque - Completed on 4th May 2001, this grand mosque acts as the main mosque in Muscat, Oman. It is a beautiful mosque that can hold up to 20,000 worshippers at a time. The mosque is made up of exquisite blue mosaic tiles and the second-largest handmade Iranian rug in the world which took 600 women four years to weave. The main prayer hall featured an extravagant chandelier and equipped with modern facilities.

Visitors can spend a night in a rustic goat-hair Bedouin tent at the foot of a huge dune and watch camels riding past the tent.
